The Vectogramm-process
The vectogramm process features a new computer-based method for transferring image data onto sheet materials by means of milling technology. First, an image template is scanned and converted into 256 grey scales. In order to transfer the image onto the sheet material, a machining file is generated from the grey values indentified, whereby the file includes milling commands for a special CNC milling machine.

The principle areas in which vectogramms can be used are architecture, marketing, graphics and art. Duo to their durability and the fact that they can be reproduced, vectogramms can be used for facade design on all kinds of buildings as well as creatives elements for noise barriers. They are appealing in asvertising with their potential for merging and displaying text and image information as an inseparable unit.

Excution
Conversion
Either black ans white or color photos in standard graphic formats (jpg, tif) can be used as image templates for a vectogramm. The dimension of vectogramm is optional. The maximum size of one panel is 4900 x 2000 mm. But there is also the possibility to construct one big vectogramm made out of several panels.
